Greater San Antonio After-School All-Stars is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive after-school programs and summer sporting events to inner-city youth. Originated through a grant from the Arnold Schwarzenegger Foundation in 1995, Greater San Antonio After-School All-Stars began as Inner City Games and was incorporated with its own charter and Board of Directors as After-School All-Stars in 2003.

The Texas Education Agency awarded the Greater San Antonio After-School All-Stars a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant for these five  elementary schools in the Edgewood Independent School District:  Gardendale, Gonzalez, Las Palmas, Roosevelt,  and Winston. This grant can be renewed for an additional two years.
